Scarlett Moffatt and Davina McCall front Stand Up To Cancer campaign

04 09 2017

Celebrities including Scarlett Moffatt, Davina McCall, Alan Carr, Kirstie Allsopp, Laura Whitmore and Jamie Laing have partnered with Stand Up To Cancer to star in the charity's new campaign, encouraging the nation to 'join the rebellion' against the disease.

Each personality has dressed up as their favourite 'rebel hero', including The Hunger Games's Katniss Everdeen, Florence Nightingale, and Jimi Hendrix, to promote the campaign, and McCall, who chose Joan of Arc, commented 'Getting involved in Stand Up To Cancer is a no-brainer when you think that one in two of us is going to get cancer at some point in our lives... I chose Joan of Arc as my rebel hero... I just think she's a very strong, incredible role model and in some ways reminds me of Stand Up To Cancer – rebelling against this awful disease by taking a different, bolder route'.
